From Ministry to Missions

Stark Love has gone through quite a bit of transformations and it isn't over yet.  Although we're still finalizing all the details of where we are going to go exactly, it is probably important to our treasured supporters to explain exactly what is going on, because we probably haven't been as clear as we need to be.

Stark Love really has a passion to capture beauty because we find it in all forms.  And in doing so, we desire to capture beauty with the goal to bring Christ to it.  We want to use our talent and hobby to spread Christ's Love to the nations; to the people.

But, that doesn't mean we're done taking pictures.  In a previous post on my personal blog, I mentioned that we're retiring from the business side of Stark Love.  Although I was trying to sound poetic, I failed at getting out what I really meant.  We are still charging for pictures, and we'll still do portraits when the opportunities arise, however, I meant to say that we're done trying to compete as a photography business and build our name, and instead, let the opportunities flow, and try to focus our photography building in the mission field.

We've received emails asking if they can still have photo sessions for their children, or families, or even weddings.  And the answer to that is, "YES, WE'D LOVE TO".  All that we make from those particular kinds of sessions will be used to lead us in the direction of being used in the mission field and growing our gear so that we can better serve people with the images we capture.

We will still be taking pictures.  Because we love it.  We'll still maintain our current pricing for portrait sessions.  We would still enjoy the honored chance to capture special moments for you!  We just want to specify that our ultimate goal is to use our equipment, our talent, and our love for photography to further His Kingdom for as long as we're here...

With that being said, We thank our Jesus for dying on the Cross and choosing out of Love, to take on my death sentence (Romans 3:23), and conquer it by Rising From the Dead (Matthew 28:5-7), and claiming Victory, so that I would be offered the choice to believe and accept Him as my Savior so that I would be joined with my Creator in Heaven for all eternity (Romans 6:23).  And we have heard the call to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19), and bring to them a Love they have yet to hear and a Love they have yet to know.  Because we believe, that Christ died for all (John 3:16).
