With Love, Sunset Beach

So... drum roll please... I did my first ever photo shoot on the beach... and I loved it!  


Meet this beautiful beach loving family.  For a special gift for daddy, they had photos done and what was originally scheduled and booked as a Park photo shoot a month earlier, turned into an afternoon frolic on the beach in DECEMBER.  Only in California {ok, maybe Hawaii}...

This is a session I enjoyed, but also learned even more about taking family portraits.  I thought I was starting to get the hang of it, but I had yet to capture a family with a 2 year old and newborn.  Although I like what I got, it was quite the challenge finding a picture with everyone looking at the camera.  So, with that being said, for this beautiful family, these are my favorites!

I got the chance to photograph this beautiful girl as she pursues a career in Hollywood.  It was my first ever head shots and I did my best to prep ahead of time.  I was extremely happy with the final outcome, but then again, how can such a beautiful girl take a bad photo?
