As I approach the 1 year mark since I first started to use my camera to financially support us, I've had a absolute pleasure of reuniting with friends from childhood.  One in particular is a now mother of two beautiful little girls.  We used to play city soccer together and now we're all grown up and I'm taking her pictures.  And since that first time I captured her family, the youngest only having been 3 weeks old, I've had the joy of capturing these two little ones a second and third time.  Which, really is one of the biggest compliments!  And even though this "summer session" turned into a rainy one, I still think these cuties made for beautiful pictures!

The Knight Family: Palm Desert Photography

This family first contacted me for other services when our lives met via the blog world.  But as we "got to virtually know each other", the chance for this Seattle family to vacation in SoCal meant the chance for me to photograph them!  And it was beautiful.

Unlike other sessions, this family session turned into an afternoon of swimming, bbqing, and long chats about life and ministry... and we fell in love with the lives of the Knights.

So... drum roll please... I did my first ever photo shoot on the beach... and I loved it!  


Meet this beautiful beach loving family.  For a special gift for daddy, they had photos done and what was originally scheduled and booked as a Park photo shoot a month earlier, turned into an afternoon frolic on the beach in DECEMBER.  Only in California {ok, maybe Hawaii}...
