Abbey / The 1 Year Pics

First off, before I shower you with this next cutie, I have to say that our next and any other future posts wont be featured here anymore, we'll be making a move to a new blog site.  But I'll give more details when the move arrives.

So, without any more interruptions, meet the cutie pie, Abbey!

Jake & Britney / The Engagement

I've known Jake as far back as the time I was a lanky tall skinny girl with big round bangs and braces.  He is one of my little brother's best friend and I had the joy (insert just a wee bit of playful sarcasm there) of watching Jake, Jimmy, Zack and Dennis grow through some of the oddest, random, and hilarious teenage moments.  But now, Jake has grown up, fell in love with his long time girlfriend whom I have come to adore!  He's still random and silly and very much the Jake I've come to consider a little bro, but he isn't so little any more!

And this session, which was filled with thrifting, roaming through private property in Oak Glen, CA which we had exclusive access to (just throwing that in there for good measure), and lots of laughter, became one of the most special sessions I hold deep in my heart!

Congrats Jake and Britney!  So excited for the new adventures headed your way!

First off, I have to give a big thank you to Benham Photographers for telling us about Showit (the brains behind our entire new look and website).

So guess what friends, we've upgraded!

Tara / A Maternity Session

I rarely get the pleasure of photographing a maternity session, probably because if I had more I would probably catch that baby fever.  But none-the-less, pregnancy is a beautiful thing to be treasured in such a way that is personal to the mama carrying the little life.

And for this mama, that is exactly what I tried to do.  Simple, yet so gorgeous, this background allowed this mama and military wife to just be one with her little boy!  Which made, to me, some beautiful images.
