I've known Jake as far back as the time I was a lanky tall skinny girl with big round bangs and braces. He is one of my little brother's best friend and I had the joy (insert just a wee bit of playful sarcasm there) of watching Jake, Jimmy, Zack and Dennis grow through some of the oddest, random, and hilarious teenage moments. But now, Jake has grown up, fell in love with his long time girlfriend whom I have come to adore! He's still random and silly and very much the Jake I've come to consider a little bro, but he isn't so little any more!
And this session, which was filled with thrifting, roaming through private property in Oak Glen, CA which we had exclusive access to (just throwing that in there for good measure), and lots of laughter, became one of the most special sessions I hold deep in my heart!
Congrats Jake and Britney! So excited for the new adventures headed your way!

Jaclyn & BJ / The Engagment
When it came down to what they wanted from their engagement session, these two were undecided until the very last minute when they finally decided to be true to themselves and just have a simple session.
He wore a shirt and skinny jeans, while she made a change from skirt to matching skinny jeans. I guess these two really are meant for each other.
Typically, I would start this post off by sharing a bit of their love story, but if you knew these two and you knew me, you'd know that I'm safer not trying to write it out in my understanding, because their story is quite unique, quite personal, and well, being as their from two different countries there are a few different sides to their love story ;)
I decided to do this post in black and white. Because for these two, the classic feel really expresses who these two are. Madly in love, these two are set to have an Australian wedding (means I'll be Australia bound)! I'm excited for what's in store for them! SO EXCITED!
And I decided to save one of my favorites in color.

Patricia & Kaleo E Session: Redlands Area Photographer
Street Bikes. Check. Gorgeous Sunlight. Check. Two Beautiful People. Check. Two Beautiful People in Love. Double Check. What a recipe for a gorgeous session with possibly our best work to date. We had a blast getting to know this couple who's love just radiates in their interaction with each other. Well, take two people who love street bikes and have a passion for other cultures (Check out Patricia's website, Charity Bali Bags, to see the kind of work she's invested in), and you have two of the coolest people! Not to mention kindest.
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
